AI Automation
WhatsApp chatbots and business automation for Kenyan businesses
WhatsApp assistants that answer questions, take orders and bookings, and collect M-Pesa payments — with a human hand-off. Built in Nairobi by Vuvo Labs.
In short
A WhatsApp chatbot is an assistant that replies to customers on WhatsApp automatically — answering common questions, taking orders and bookings, collecting payment and passing the conversation to a person when needed. Vuvo Labs designs and builds these assistants for Kenyan businesses, connected to M-Pesa and the systems you already use.
Who it's for
Is this right for you?
- Restaurants, shops and salons that take orders and bookings on WhatsApp
- Clinics and pharmacies answering the same patient questions daily
- Real estate, education and services firms that lose leads to slow replies
- Any business whose team spends hours a day on repetitive WhatsApp messages
What you get
What we deliver
Conversation design
The questions, menus and hand-off rules, written in the language your customers actually use — English, Swahili or both.
Ordering and booking flows
Customers choose items or a time slot in the chat, and the order or booking lands in your system.
M-Pesa payment in the chat
An M-Pesa prompt to the customer's phone, with the payment matched to the order automatically.
Human hand-off
Anything unusual, sensitive or unclear is routed to a team member with the conversation history.
Reporting
Volumes, common questions and conversions, so you can see what the assistant is saving you.
How it works
From first call to launch
- 01
Map the repetitive work
We review your real WhatsApp conversations to find the questions and tasks that repeat most.
- 02
Pilot one flow
We automate one measurable flow first — for example order taking or FAQs — and record a baseline.
- 03
Add guardrails
The assistant answers only from information you approve, logs conversations and hands over to a person when unsure.
- 04
Launch and improve
We train your team, monitor conversations and keep improving accuracy.
Cost and timeline
What affects the price
We quote every project in writing after scoping. These are the factors that move the number.
- The number of conversation flows (FAQs only, orders, bookings, payments).
- Integrations with your POS, CRM, booking or accounting systems.
- Whether the assistant must work in Swahili, English or mixed language.
- Message volume and the fees Meta charges for some message types.
- How much reporting and staff hand-off tooling you need.
Good to know
Rules and honest limits
Opt-in and privacy
Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform requires customers to opt in before a business sends them messages, and outbound messages outside the customer-service window must use approved templates. Customer data is also personal data under the Kenya Data Protection Act, 2019, so we design opt-in, purpose and opt-out into every flow.
Rules and fees change
Meta updates its policies and message pricing from time to time. We confirm the current rules and costs during scoping rather than quoting from memory.
